Today we have something a tad different. Many of you like dabble in a mobile gaming or use you mobile when you have some free time. When you’re not reading The Toy Chronicle or browsing the net. Mobile gaming and apps play a part in everyday life in this day in age. Today we are featuring a few apps and games which are linked to designer toy artist/companies in some way. Perfect for a break and pooping time 🙂
First off is Battle Tails. Developed by the talented Jian SHEN at Powercore / Bearo.
BattleTails is a side scrolling Tower Defense game which focuses on three major components for gameplay:Defensive Structures, Offensive Units, and your Hero. Each of these have their own unique characteristics for changing the tide of battle, and have distinct advantages and disadvantages against the other units in battle. There was an immediate realization of mutual appreciation (obsession) for Designer Toys and Video Games. The first concept drawings were done in a matter of days and after a quick animation test, it was clear Battle Tails had to become a reality. We told our friend DJ QBert about the idea since he himself is a huge gamer and he was immediately interested in getting involved. QBert’s beats added a whole new dimension to the concept.”

Next up is Best Fiends

Final one now, Not really a designer toy artist related but kinda cool app to have if you collect toys toys and designer art collectables. App called Clect. Collect, Share Buy & Sell… at Clect.com – Your online home for collecting together.
