We do love a little designer wooden toys and Swiss premium wood toy maker Pepe Hiller is back with ZARO’s. ZARO’s caught our eye while flicking though Instagram as you do and we were pleased to see ZARO’s will be released soon. Their charming smile won us over.
“The little ZARO sprites are pretty shy and living as small tribes in the woods near you. If you however accidentally see one or two walking by try to smile at them…usually then they just can’t help themselves to bump into you and hug you heartily!”
The ZARO’s are crafted out of 3 different woods: Alder wood (light brownish), sapele wood (reddish brown) and smoked oak (dark brownish). Of each wood there are three 4.5″ and three 3″ figures available. All pieces are signed, numbered and oiled & waxed with a beeswax finish. The tiny arms are made out of solid brass.
