2PetalRose sent over information for his two latest Maiko commissions and they are just as beautiful as you would imagine. First up we have Old Skool Maiko. We love the A.D.I.D.A.S feel to this piece. From the logo in the detachable Samurai Helmet (via magnets), to the Three Stripes on the kimono. Standing 15inches tall (with base), Old Skool is outstanding.

The second Maiko commission is Midori. Midori features a flag, base (with traditional Japanese art print) and twin swords. The client let 2PetalRose free to do as he pleased with this piece, and I’m sure the client is extremely happy with the outcome. It’s another thing of Japanese beauty. We love the colour scheme with Midori, definitely got a hint of the sweet, bright-green-coloured, muskmelon-flavored liqueur namesake manufactured in Japan.

Both Old Skool and Midori, unfortunately, are heading to their respective homes, but the good news is that 2PetalRose is looking to make more of the Old Skool Maiko! Both are handmade resin figurines, hand-painted with acrylic paints.
