DCon sure is going to be a helluva blast this coming weekend. The Toy Chronicle wishes that we could be in attendance, but alas it’s not to be. We’ll be watching from afar this year. Much like our friend, Inami Toys who won’t be at DCon in person but unlike TTC, Inami Toys will be releasing new colourways of his Tumble Tops via the myplasticheart booth (#414).
Since DCon is held in Pasadena, Inami Toys wanted to find out more about the city. The official flower of the city is the rose so Inami decided on floral-themed colourways. Each top comes individually blind-bagged in either Rose, Green, or Turquoise colours and if you’re lucky you might get one of the rare marbled variants! Each Tumble Top is priced at $12/£10.
Not only do the Tumble Tops look fabulous in your collection, they also double up as a playable game too! A resin game of Rock, Paper, Scissors! Spin the Tumble Top and whichever symbol lands at the top, is your playable hand. So simple, but very effective. A great idea. The Toy Chronicle love our Tumble Tops. Perfectly crafted.
