Born in Detroit, built in Los Angeles, Corner 12 are an artist collective, run by David Schlesinger a Designer Toy collector since 2004. David used his 15 years experience to morph his digital agency into this Corner 12 collective, where he manages a small number of artists. Corner 12 takes care of the business side for artists – you know the kinda stuff that a lot artists are crappy at. Answering emails, sending release emails, social media, orchestrating collaborations/gallery shows etc. Corner 12 are using DesignerCon to officially debut their artist line-up. If you’re heading to DCon, you should definitely head to Booth #732 to visit Corner 12 and his artists! So shall we meet the artists that are currently on the Corner 12 books?!
You’re all probably familiar with the works of Josh Mayhem, being literally & figuratively blown away by his Blown Away Custom Dunny series that have been selling out for the best part of two years! But do you also know Watch Parts Motorcycle? Watch Parts Motorcycle, or Dan as his Mum calls him, uses vintage watch parts to create beautiful pieces of art. As you can see from his Custom Kidrobot 8inch Dunny below. We’ll feature more art from both Josh & Dan as they head to DesignerCon this weekend.
