The Compound will host a press conference to celebrate the toy release and showcase the exclusive collector’s toy at the South Bronx creative space. Compound ambassadors, local media, and the press will get an inside look, meet and greet with the creators, and have an opportunity at pre-sale purchase of the “Charlie Grin” toy, followed by a lunch at a local hotspot, La Grata, with celebrity host and DJ Megan Ryte.
Following the press conference, the celebration will continue later that evening at Concepts, NYC’s premium boutique located in Tribeca. To set the tone for this memorable evening, Roc Nation’s Lenny S. will host the official toy launch party as Hot 97’s DJ Enuff provides the soundtrack for partygoers, celebrities, tastemakers and art enthusiasts. The night will consist of colorful snacks and drinks. Guests will have an opportunity to meet and have their toy figures signed by Ron English, Set Free, and Chris Kong.
