BE PREPARED! No exaggeration as 1000toys x Toys-to-Art teases what they will have at Thailand Toy Expo 2018! Ranging from limited edition soft vinyl to high-end action figures as well as various prototypes on display. Here’s what they had to say about the event.
1000toys is bringing the Toys-to-Art Showcase to Thailand Toy Expo 2018!
We will be hosting special guests Kaori Hinata (Hinatique) and Yasu (Ebineko-ya) who will be doing signings and live drawings at the booth so stop by and say hello. Kaori will have a selection of Morris’s available and Yasu is bringing an awesome assortment of her current toys.
The TTA Showcase will also offer a selection of limited edition Japanese soft vinyl figures including the TTA InuHarigon by Teresa Chiba and TTA Ebineko by Yasu; Dogu & Rare Boy by Science Patrol & Mushbah; plus the debut of the new Sushi L.A. series from Sentinel Japan.
All vinyl figures will be sold “first come – first serve” with the following exceptions listed below.

– Lottery tickets will be distributed from 10am – 11am at the TTA booth on the respective days.
– Tickets are first come first serve. Only 1 ticket per person!
– Please be aware that the total number of lottery tickets is limited.
– Lottery winners will be able to purchase 1 item of their choice – supplies are limited!!
– At noon we will post the winning number and time slots.
– You must come in person during your time slot to make your purchase.
– You can line up 30 minutes before your time slot.
– If you miss your time slot you will have to wait until the after 4pm to make your purchase.

Headlining our lineup will be the ROBOX Canvas White – a new limited color version of our new collaboration with Kim Jung-Gi that will be sold for the first time at TTE. This version has a cool white finish and bonus decal sheet that make it ideal for customization. Make it your own!

IZMOJUKI
IzmoJuki products will also be returning to TTE with his latest works. Explore the world of IzmoJuki and his mechanical designs with his newest art book “Industrial Divinities 2017”. For those into more physical products, we will be selling a 1/35 scale model kit version of the popular IzmoJuki Probe 20-WT.
MechatroWego
The ever popular MechatroWego series has been a staple at the 1000toys booth the past few years and this year is no exception. We will be bringing 3 new designs of the 35 MechatroWeGo series that are being sold in Thalland for the first time plus the debut of the brand new TIny WeGo Blindbox series.
35MechatroWego Hinomaru
This original version of the Mechatro Wego Hinomaru (Rising Sun ) sold out in minutes during its initial release in 2015. The updated version comes with new hand parts not included in the first release.
35MechatroWego TYO
A special Tokyo themed color version which debuted last year at a MechatroWego event held in Shibuya – the centre of Japanese Youth Culture. Special marking and symbols made this one of the best selling products at the event and a must have for Wego fans across the world.
35MechatroWego America
USA! USA! This America-themed MechatroWeGo also debuted at the Shibuya event last year and created quite a buzz among Japanese fans. Sporting a stars and stripes motif, this WeGo comes with special boxing glove-shaped hand parts that are only available with this release.
Tiny WeGo Blind BOX
These small and cute tiny Wego’s are making their first appearance at TTE! The Tiny Wego was originally developed as a bundle with the first MechatroWego book, however, the demand for it grew to the point that a blind box series was definitely in order.

The Tiny WeGos are 45mm tall and come in five different designs – Orange, Hinomaru, Super (Green) , High Tech SV (Yellow & Red), and Hong Kong Taxi (Red) . Sold in blind boxes, it will be a surprise which one of these articulated little guys you will get.

Nu:synth initiative
This year we will be bringing the first releases from the nu;synth initiative – our new collaboration action figure to Thailand for the first time. Nextman Synth was developed in collaboration with the Japanese vinyl mastermind Mori Katsura of RealxHead, one of the most popular vinyl artists in the world. Based on characters created by NY-based YouTube personalities “Toy Pizza” who spawned their very own toy series called Knights of the Slice (aka KOTS). The Knights of the Synth are armed with their trusty pizza cutters and are super poseable.1/6 Scale Synthetic Human Clear
We will be bringing the clear version of the classic 1/6 Synthetic Human to TTE. Cast in crystal clear plastic, this version is fully articulated with joints tight enough to hold elegant poses just like the original. Beautiful as is or the figure is perfect to use as a base to create your own custom.
