If not check it out HERE (trust us it’s worth it). ??? HandSome Studio has been making his rounds at exhibitions around South Korea and also recently showcased at KULT gallery in Singapore. Today he’s finally added the finished prototypes for his new series of art toys. Similar styling to TRAVIS CAIN x KIDROBOT BBFS but with a lot more Korean flair, cuteness. Namhan River Series is more than an art toy series, a story behind the design.
Based on the Namhan River (a.k.a Yeogang Gil) wander project a called community art. ??? HandSome Studio researched the forgotten in rural villages of South Korea. The series was created based on what ??? HandSome Studio researched and turned each memory into a village character based on the crumbling community. ??? tells the story of a Grandfather and grandmother story handed down to a village & the tradition that engulfed to modernisation.
