Only 7 days now until Five Points Festival in NYC! SEVEN days! Next Saturday sees the doors open to the inaugural Five Points, hosted by Clutter Magazine & Midtown Comics. As we creep ever closer to the big day, more & more artists are starting to reveal their work that will be available to purchase. Super7 have illuminated our morning with their three wee micro GID figures. Caveman Dino, Wing Kong and Bat Boy will all be making an appearance at Five Points over the course of the 20-21st May weekend. No details on price range or edition size as yet. You’ll be able to grab them from Booth #239!
Considering this is the first Five Points, Clutter & Midtown are going all out to make this a full-on extravaganza! Five Points sounds super special and we can’t wait to get over to NYC next week and experience everything that those guys have planned. If you’ve yet to purchase tickets, go HERE and support this event. We want to see Five Points Fest 2018, 2019, 2022… etc, and that will only happen with folks going out & buying tickets, and making this a weekend to remember.
Don’t forget that next Friday, the pre-cursor to Five Points Festival will be the Designer Toy Awards Ceremony hosted by Morgon Spurlock! A chance for fans & artists to celebrate the year of 2016 and all the awesome pieces of art & releases we saw. Hopefully, we’ll see TTC become 2-time DTA winners, but we’ll see. If you want to attend the 2017 DTA’s, you’ll need to be a Five Points VIP – which you can become if you purchase the VIP ticket HERE.
Finally, there is the Five Points Fest Aftershow Party! We love to party HARD. Sonic Boom Box will be hosting the official aftershow party on Saturday evening. Tonnes of shit going down – Art of War hosted by Greg Mishka as L’amour Supreme takes on Toki Doki! If you’ve already purchased your VIP pass, you’ll get into the aftershow party. Otherwise, you’ll need to purchase a separate ticket for $20 ($30 on the door). Gonna be a great night!
