The guys at Clutter Magazine have not only put on a fucking amazing weekend of Designer Toy Awards & Five Points Festival, they’ve also welcomed The Toy Chronicle into their home this week and they’ve been the most excellent hosts. It has been a great week of friendship, beers, bowling, line-dancing, bull-riding and some of the most amazing pork in the world. We can’t thank the Clutter gang for their hospitality & all they’ve done for us this week. So to help them out, we want you to visit their online store and snap up some of the remaining exclusive Five Points stock!
We got to meet the artist Nouar behind the Mister Self Indulgence release with Martian Toys this past weekend, and it was an absolute pleasure. Mister Self Indulgence is a highlight of 2018 and we are only halfway through the year. No doubt about it, this will be up for a Designer Toy Award come next May. It’ll be top of our list when we head into the DTA Panels in 2019. Anyways, back to 2018, Clutter have an exclusive colourway of Mister Self Indulgence in a Berry colourway HERE. Priced at $150 (£112). This Berry colourway was limited to 100 pieces and we saw LOTS being sold at Five Points, so we can’t imagine many are left.
The ever-gracious Horrible Adorables was another highlight of our weekend at Five Points Festival. Their infectious smiles & personality make it sooooo difficult not to like this beautiful duo. They currently have their new 5inch Kidrobot Production Dunny available from your favourite Designer Toy stores. However, the Clutter Exclusive Curly Horned Dunnylope is available HERE for $40 (£30).
Spending the week with American Gross, we’ve sunk into his psyche and started to delve into what drives him and his creations. Looking at his studio space(s) over the past few days we’ve grown ever deeper in love with the Venus Penetrator in GID vinyl. It seemed like a big hit in resin form previously, but definitely caught the attention of GID fans in the Designer Toy world with the Vinyl version. Available HERE for $150 (£112).
Clutter have also got a bunch of RESTORE and Zipper Rabbit too, which you can find on their dedicated Five Points Festival page HERE.
