At the beginning of February, 7th to be more precise, Pepe Hiller launched his new wooden Designer Toy – Kor. Kor stands 3.5inches tall of beautifully crafted artwork. These may have long sold out, but they definitely deserve a mention on The Toy Chronicle. Sold for $120/£83 each.
Pepe has done a great job creating Kor. KOR’s body is handcrafted out of a more than 200 year old oak wood log. His head and horns are made out of teak and smoked oak wood. To defend his tribe Kor holds a carefully forged brass broad-sword covered with an ancient patina. His arms are articulated and features multiple solid brass and natural leather parts. The figure has a semi gloss finish thru oil and wax. Each piece was signed and numbered by Pepe Hiller.
