This year, 1000toys will start 2 new series, along with TOA Heavy Industries. It has almost been a year since the OG SYNTHETIC HUMAN released and caused a huge buzz around the 1/6 scene. For the late collectors this will be a little sign of relief but having said that, this release will be for the all NEW “Collared and Reprogrammed Body ” the more sinister and evil SYNTHETIC HUMAN and the darker side of the Biomega Manga adaptation of the character.
“Kugutu”, a 1/6 series by Takayuki Takeya.
Details on this series including the designs will be revealed at the Art Toy Culture(ATC) event held in Seoul, Korea from the 17th April.
Izumo Juki is a series by designer Junji Okubo. This will be the first mech-type product from 1000toys. This series will feature new types of heavy machinery being developed towards the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2020.
The pre-orders for the 1/6 ‘Collared-and-Reprogrammed Body’ is planned to start after the Thai Toy Expo, until the Golden Week holidays are over in Japan. Never the less I a personally super excited and will look great standing beside the OG SYNTHETIC HUMAN and Test body version. They will sell out super fast and aftermarket stinks so look out for more news how to pre-order it should be real soon!.

It also looks like that they have the same articulation as the SYNTHETIC HUMAN which is the best figure articulation that I have seen for now. new Head and arms but looks like no articulated fingers on the hand which was the ONLY down side on the OG SYNTHETIC HUMAN figure. On the other hand one of the new hands does look like it has three fingers that can articulate a little on the new robotic arm. We shall see when I have it in my hands.
