Canadian-based painter and illustrator with a penchant for painting designer toys, Tasha Zimich has done two beautiful custom Lunartik Tea’s for Toycon UK 2015 which be at Lunartik Matt Jones booth 22 Fans Of Tea mini custom show.
I personally love expression on this custom. The eyes and the tones just speak out to me personally, as fellow collector Ian Fakenbridge said “Looks realistic. Nicely layered”.
Is the most vibrant custom out of the three, and has that iconic Tasha trademark flow of colours, the supreme blend of colours noticed on the saucer of the tea and those butterfly well well who doesn’t like butterflies right? but if you have a closer look the face is a more sinister look.
Tiny little tea party
This custom really shows the British side of things like a tea party with foxes and rabbits, the clever use of the table as the moustache of the tea. if you notice the small paw prints on the base or the saucer too. Winner for me!
