Wananeko – Javier Jiménez Altea

Javier Jiménez is back with his encore for his creation OG Wananeko. The first run was only available at the Tokyo Cat Fight show in Japan so most folks who wanted it couldn’t get one. So it was only right to make another run of the OG Wananeko. The mad cat Wananeko stands approximately 12cm tall (4.8″) this resin figure will cost $60 (around £35)  per piece and will feature the original colour way as shown in the character’s video story.

This second run has a very limited amount of pieces and there won’t be another run in this colour way, at least in a long while.
The figure comes in a bag with header card and includes some themed stickers.

Wananeko - Javier Jiménez bagged

Javier will also be releasing The “Wananeko Anatomy” print, a tribute to Shigeru Mizuki’s series of yokai anatomy illustrations, will also be available at the web shop for $6 each print. Print on watercolour paper, each one has A5 size.
Looking at his anatomy and reading the Japanese text, we can find out why he scares people instead of killing them as his revenge: he feeds on human panic!
