Right where Tik Ka From East x ZCWO left off, is the new 呂布 Lu Bu as it joins mighty 關Guan and 潮流 Fei from the Trend series that started just over four years ago.
As we have previously said before, Re-writing the history books once again is Hong Kong artist Tik Ka From East! over the past few years we have seen the debut of the Trend Series with the 關 Guan Plaster Edition 潮流 powered by the folks at ZCWO which was the first creation from the new series《潮流 Trend》關Guan and 潮流 Fei was destined to wear souvenir jacket and sneakers, HA. From ancient to the present, humanity, virtue, and sentiment will last forever regardless of the historical or the present time. 關Guan and 潮流 Fei Vinyl Figure and now the all new 呂布 Lu Bu restores the appearance of the works with a fine sculptural quality. Judging from the photos, ZCWO has done a great job of interpreting Tik Ka’s signature style into a vinyl art collectible. Who would have thought 關Guan, 潮流 Fei and now 呂布 Lu Bu could turn from Han dynasty military general into a hypebeast? Tik Ka did, HA. Look at all the homages to brands and hypebeast styling! Will all the little hypebeasts bow down and worship them all!

【TikKa from East】Growing up in the Hong Kong colonial era, Tik Ka absorbed European, American & Japanese cultures including comic books, movies, music and food culture, whilst, at the same time, having a traditional Chinese background. 【Chizi by Tik Ka】 – Tik Ka’s early work infused the Japanese “Kawaii” style into traditional Chinese new year paintings – creating the “So Ha” (infant) series. The subject and tone illustrate a colourful, artless utopia as a way to explore humanity through the eyes of a child. Continuing to explore his boundaries, Tik Ka incorporated Chinese and Western influences and aesthetics, developing the series “ChiZi”. The dreamy, soft colours used in “ChiZi” – its subtle, muted tones contrast with the vibrant and luxuriant “So Ha” series. It is Tik Ka’s hope to share with the world “ChiZi’s” innocence, and undamaged essence of humanity.
