Last year at Five Points Fest 2018, the world watched as JCORP defeated several opposition over the course of the June weekend to take down the first ever Paint Fight and was rewarded with a special prize of designing the exclusive beer can labels for this years Five Points Fest. Paint Fight is returning to the Brooklyn Expo Center next weekend for the 2019 edition of Five Points Fest and we have the details of the all important Paint Fights taking place.
Kicking off proceedings will be JCORP defending her title up against Mike Die at 12pm on Saturday in the courtyard by the Pin Yard, as you can see in the Five Points Fest map below. You will defo want to be there at the start of the Paint Fight as there are rumours of a GREAT announcement to be made, which you don’t want to miss.
Following the JCORP vs Mike Die paint fight, Buttsup and Mike Altman go head to head at 1-2pm. Each artist gets only ONE HOUR to make their mark and impress the judges. The judges are YOU! Each paint fight will be decided upon crowd noise. If you want your favourite artist to go through to the second judge panel, you need TO MAKE SOME F’N NOIIIISEEE! Each Paint Fight winner will go into the final pool where a set of judges will decide on which TWO artists will make it through to the final showdown!
Grace Lang vs Ramiro Studios go at it between the hour of 2-3pm! Remember only one of these can move towards the final judge panel, but they need your support to get that far. Shout, scream, holla, whoop. Whatever it takes, right?
How about Lou Lou Pimentel taking on 7 Sketches? This is the paint fight that we want to see. Kicking off at 3pm. At 4pm is the paint fight between Merk Aveli vs Riisa Boogie. Those guys bring the heat and we fully expect that these might be the closest paint fight of the day. We can’t wait to see what they bring. Saturday 1st June will be the day to check out all these awesome Paint Fights. You can grab some food, grab some beers and head to the Paint Fight area of Five Points Fest and see shit go down.
