The world has been a crazy place since March 2020, and one thing we have all missed is the Designer Toy Awards. A time to celebrate artists and the works that we all enjoyed during the previous year. The DTA have been on a bit of a hiatus of sorts due to COVID. Back in Oct 2021, the DTA were able to catch up and celebrate 2019, and now the nominations have opened for 2020 AND 2021! A double banger!
Usually the DTA award ceremony takes in the previous year Jan 1st to Dec 31st, however, this time it’ll be Jan 1st 2020 through to Dec 31st 2021! 24 bumper months of Designer Toy goodness!
It’s reeeeet simple to create your nomination too. Select the category you would like to nominate in, add the artist (or name of the company, custom etc), add their website and an image of the nomination. Hit SUBMIT. Done. you can submit as many nominations as you wish too, as many categories too.
You can also NOMINATE YOURSELF, if your works fall in to the appropriate category! Believe in yourself to nominate yourself! No one will know who nominated who, so fucking go for it! NOMINATE YOURSELF!

Nomination period ends on 8th September, when they’ll be passed to the DTA Committee to finalise the DTA Finalists.
The Final vote will take place later, with the winners announced on 6th October at Five Points Fest Fall!
