Plasticgod has spoken! NICK CAVE fans are you ready for some more NICK CAVE goodness?! Plasticgod® is the artist behind the introduction of the very first, five Nick Cave vinyl figures. After selling out the first five designs in a matter of hours, Plasticgod is now releasing his Loverman figure in a limited edition of only 500 just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Based on one of Nick’s most popular songs “Loverman”, Plasticgod relies on his graphic design background to create a logo mark that exemplifies the title, the symbol for man and a reverberating heart outline to complete the echoing design. This being the sixth design Plasticgod created exclusively for Nick, the Loverman figure follows the limited edition figures of Tupelo, Ship Song, Red Right Hand, You Turn Me On, and Into My Arms.
The figure will sell for $75 on Plasticgod’s website www.plasticgod.com, the beginning of February.

PETER MURPHY VINYL COLLECTIBLES HONOR 30 YEARS
Peter Murphy’s solo album Deep, released in 1989, will mark its 30th anniversary in December 2019. In recognition of the momentous event, Plasticgod®, @plasticgodofficial (Instagram) announces the release of a commemorative vinyl figure.
Cuts You Up (released 1990), one of Murphy’s most successful tracks from this album, is the inspiration for Plasticgod’s design, complete with pearlescent coloured hair, a traditional gem representing 30-year anniversaries and Murphy’s notable, cascading bangs.
The official 6” figure is a limited edition of only 2000, selling for $100 each. A one-of-a-kind figure of Murphy, embellished with six, sparkling black diamonds, yet another symbol representing 30 years, will sell for $5,000. Additionally, the commemorative figure will be placed in unique packaging, which incorporates a plexiglass construction and made available early in 2020.
