NEW: Listen to the Urban Robot Cat Podcast on Spotify now!

A new voice arose in the Designer Toy world this week. A trio of voices that you may well recognise from other adventures they are apart of in the Designer Toy scene. Travis from UVD Toys, Chris from Robots Will Kill and Cory from Strange Cat Toys have formed together a band of words with their new journey into podcasting courtesy of their new Urban Robot Cat Podcast! You can listen to the first episode of Urban Robot Cat towards the end of this post.

TTC had the chance to ask Urban Robot Cat a few questions on the endeavour, please check out the answers below…

What are your aims for for Urban Robot Cat podcast?

Our goals for this podcast are to discuss various topics concerning visual arts across a wide range of mediums. This will allow us to cover a varitety of subjects ranging from fine art, street art, art toys, and more! Our podcast will have a focus on art, and the people that make it.

What makes you different to the other podcasts in the art scene?

What helps our podcast stand apart from others in the scene is our 3 hosts are all are heavily involved in different aspects of the art world. This gives our podcast a look from a creative, producer, store, and collector/fan. The team share common interests but look at issues discussed through the eye of their rolls and experiences in the scene.

What have you got planned for future episodes?

In the future we plan for a mix of round table discussions, artist interviews, and discussions on topics affecting the art world!

How often do you plan to podcast?

We plan to have regular episodes at least twice a month but our goal is to be weekly as we continue grow!
