After a long ass day flying, a few hours sleep, The Toy Chronicle is now in New York City ready for some chaos & joy for the Five Points Festival weekend starting tonight at the 8th edition of the Designer Toy Awards. However, before the festivities begin, we still have posts to bring you. We promised you more Chris Ryniak news, so that is what we are going to give you. A whole lotta love for Ryniak.
First up, the new Succulent Dewlap in a glorious green colourway. Succulently cute. For those not attending Five Points, Succulent will be released online in early June, keep your peepers on The Toy Chronicle for more details.
Ohhhhh, how freaking #theresacute is Dashi?! Dashi is debuting at Five Points in two sizes, mini and mid-size! This first Eggplant edition is limited to only 10 pieces. Get ready to adopt Dashi quick if you want to bring Dashi home.
Meet Howden. This cute gourd character will melt even the most hardened heart. Howden is soooo eager to debut at Five Points. Howden was designed by Ryniak, 3D-modelled by @a_wandering_shadow and cast by @eric38carlson. We think at least 15 of Howden will be available at Five Points. Howden will also see an early-June online release too. Peepers & F5 fingers at the ready!
Ryniak has been out in his vegetable patch and harvested some brand new mini veggie critters, especially for YOU! We are simply lost for words on how f’n cute these guys are. Do we expect anyting less from Chris’ work? Nope, not at all.
You can find all the above and more at Chris’ booth #230 from 10am tomorrow morning. We imagine at least 50% of the VIP will be heading on over to Ryniak’s booth first so you’ll have to be quick & lucky if you want to grab any of the above to add to your collection. Good luck & Godspeed!
