PUPPY POWER! Apisub Phupha’s Zing Zing has a litter of puppies! On their way to Hong Kong Summer Soul these little ones are ready to charm collectors. We were charmed back in April HERE as we love designer art collectables that touch on traditions and culture. Foo Dogs have always appealed to us, cute or not Foo dogs most of the time win our attention. Meet Zing Zing the Lion the mini edition. Can’t make it to Summer Soul? As a child watch a lion dance performance, they would see them as real lion moving around. This idea of a character being alive
spark the idea of bringing it into an art toy piece. The concept is a mixture the creature (lion) from a performance with a dog (western would called the creature foo dog). The two mixture come together to create Zing Zing.
