Just when you thought you’ve seen it all in the scene, Hong Kong based artist Kazy Chan joins the Streams Gallery lineup. Giving fans of Kazy Chan a different dimension to collecting Kazy’s art. Kazy Mr. Rubber from the Unfortunate Garden makes its debut today. Think about it, We’ve never used a whole piece of eraser because Mr. Rubber knows that he’s about to be used up. So, he hides from an unseen place, dies quietly, and disappears with a little dignity.
Happiness is an allegory, unhappiness a story. Misfortunes always happen to us, but have you ever thought that the everyday objects, even the characters that appear in mythology, have their misfortune?The Unfortunate Garden created by Hong Kong illustrator Kazy Chan, has gathered the characters who are incomplete in their lives. Their stories vary from one story to another, bringing unhappiness as a part of life.

About
Kazy Chan is a post-90s illustrator from Hong Kong. He graduated from the School of Design of Polytechnic University. His works are mostly watercolor, with vivid colors, and about humanized animals. In 2015, he held a solo exhibition 《男子學》to explore the necessary conditions for being a man. Kazy Illustration was established in 2015 as an extension of daily illustration work. He hopes his characters can accompany you every day.
