Upfest 2016 is just around the corner but this year they need your assistance to make Europe’s largest Street Art & Graffiti festival even bigger. Artist Czee13 (or Chris Tampin as we know the cheeky little scamp) is helping by contributing his art to a Fundsurfer campaign to help raise much needed funds for Upfest. Chris has created a resin figure – Oscar – that can be purchased as part of the campaign.
Standing at 4inch tall, Czee13 has sculpted & hand cast this spray can figure, and given it a bronze paint job. Only 50 exist in the Fundsurfer campaign and will cost you £45. You can support Upfest by purchasing Czee13’s Oscar HERE.
In the core team of Upfest there are only a few folk and around one hundred volunteers managing an event which has grown exponentially since it’s inception in 2008. Artists from around the globe support Upfest by making their own way here and paint for free in front of thousands of visitors. Upfest already have an incredible line-up of diverse and eclectic artists joining them, but it takes a huge amount of input (and money) to stage the event each year. So every penny that is raised during the Fundsurfer campaign will go someway to help pay for materials etc. Go check out the Upfest Fundsurfer HERE for more details. Upfest will be held in Bristol during 23rd – 25th July 2016.
