BLACKLIST TOYS aren’t messing around for this weekends Five Points Festival. Bring releases and exclusives the Big Apple and looking to shake up Five Points Festival with goodness from around the world under one roof (or should we say booth) BLACKLIST TOYS booth has called upon 7 NYC active graffiti artists all doing box trucks, along with sticker/slap packs and more graffiti collectables. Booth concept has hidden messages and release which tie-in with kaiju and street culture mix as explained below. BLACKLIST TOYS booth includes TOY BOOM, NATE THE MILKMAN, PWNALICIOUS, KAGE MARU DESIGNS and TRASH TALK TOYS.
If you’re not familiar with this history of 5points and where clutter stole the name from, it is from a building that used to be in Queens, NYC that became the graffiti mecha of the whole world. It no longer exists but it will forever be a part of graffiti history everywhere. That being said, I have some of nNYC’s top graffiti artist doing collectibles for us. just like old kaiju classic movies, the kaiju monsters/creatures/beasts always end up invading the cities and causing havoc, chaos and destruction. So I came up with the idea that the kaiju (sofvi) will invade 5points/nyc and have the kaiju pieces spread throughout all the graffiti collectibles. or versa visa. –BLACKLIST TOYS

Five Points is going to be an awesome weekend of Designer Toys, Kaiju, Craft Beer (we know shizzle about the exclusive beer and it’s going to be GOOD!), Street Art & NYC! The Toy Chronicle will be there for the full weekend, and we CANNOT wait to get out to New York and experience it all with you again! Who else is going? Shout up, we want to say hi!
