It all started as a deal between artists, Ben was interested in learning how to create art toys and proposed to redesign and make me a new tattoo that I had drawn in exchange for teach him some modeling classes. I accepted the proposal without hesitation. To show him my work process I chose his reinterpretation of Bulma as a reference, one of my favorite illustrations in his entire portfolio. The character represents an erotic tattooed cosplayer woman who loves to enjoy herself, an ode to sexual freedom and self-expression.
After several sessions, we realised that the result was exceeding both of our expectations, because there’s nothing like creating something stimulated and inspired by someone you admire. Ben’s illustration style has been a go-to since I was young, so fusing my sculpting and modeling skills with his unique understanding of shapes and volume was a great pleasure, I thoroughly enjoyed every hour I spent working on this piece.
By the time the art toy was finished, we already had in mind the idea of making a limited edition to share the result of our collaboration. The original design has bare nipples, but in reference to the #freethenipple movement and focusing on each person’s possible preferences and visibility on social media, we decided to put band-aids to cover them.
After thinking a lot about how to carry out the production, we came up with the idea of creating a crowdfunding, since working with intermediaries entailed limitations and complications due to royalties, which made us lose a little of the spirit of artistic synergy from which this work was born. Also in this way we take charge of the entire process and make us able to see the potential scope to make new pieces together later.

The goal funds will be used to make a 50 numbered resin pieces limited edition with packaging. The band-aids on the breasts has magnets to easily put or take off according to your preferences. In case it runs out, the limited edition will be expandable to 100 pieces as maximum, but as a gesture of gratitude to the faster backers, the first run has a small discount.
