Resin fans rejoice! Tenacious Toys has revealed the first half of the pieces in their upcoming Resin Is King Series 3 blind box series. What is Resin Is King you might ask? Well, it’s “an all-resin blind box series concept developed by Brian Ahlbeck of Dead Hand Toys and Benny Kline of Tenacious Toys. The intent is to showcase the work of the leading collectible sculptors and resin casters in a dedicated series”. Sound good right?
“This all-resin, all handmade series of art collectibles features pieces by 10 of the most talented artists working in resin today. The debut of this series will take place at the Tenacious Toys booth #309 in The Block at New York Comic Con on opening day, October 6”.

“We are very excited to shine a spotlight once again on the hard working and talented sculptors that make the resin scene so vibrant,” Tenacious Toys CEO Benny Kline says. “And what better place to showcase their talents than at the East coast’s biggest comic con.”
“Each blind box will be $30 and they will be available exclusively through Tenacious Toys. At NYCC there will be a few pre-opened figures on display which can be swapped with figures purchased at the booth – if you like one you see in their case better, Tenacious Toys will give you that one and stick the one you pulled into the case.”
“The blind boxes will have a unique and secret numbering system which will ensure that customers can purchase more than 1 blind box and will not get 2 of the same item. Leftover blind boxes will be made available online in the week following NYCC.”
