The wonders of the internet, sometimes you stumble on something impressive and catches your attention. Ours did today when Sungwon Jo of Box face Lab who’s part of the Grey Smith Collective uploaded something very interesting. Meet Kino & Heart resin art toys! We won’t beat you around the bush and don’t know much about them or if they are actually a release.
One thing we do know is we love the design and the expression and colour palate was the eye catcher for us. Simple but yet filled with emotions and fun rolled into one. One project we will be keeping a close eye on.
Boxface Lab creates designs based on two keywords: storage and variety of combinations.
The box-shaped characters created based on these keywords are applied to its creations in various areas.
Picture books are written about a box child (Kino) and his trip to the box world of Boxface Lab’s characters
and the relevant art toys are created for the pleasure of many people.
Boxface Lab works on creative activities that bring pleasure to people by collaborating with artists and designers from various fields.
Looking a little deeper into Box face Lab they have a marvellous range of designs and 3D renders. Another one that stood out which made a debut at TTF2016 was this FREAKING amazing skull-like figure BRman! WE WANT IT.
Before you leave us one MORE from Box face! Ballon box Hanger, HOW CUTE.
