Looky Looky, paint tests by Unbox Industries on Daniel Yu’s giant sized Jiangshi Acolyte have now surfaced! Seeing and buying the blue giant sized Jiangshi Acolyte at Thailand Toy Expo confirmed how awesome Jiangshi Acolyte. As good as the original Jiangshi Acolyte Daniel has produced over the years.

For personal taste the red version looks better, not feeling the green at all. Judging by this photo the paint work is impressive. Unbox have pulled out all the punches and got all the fine details out. Will we see a DIY version? Which version would you like to see for the first release? Comments below.
“This giant sized Jiangshi Acolyte has been almost a year in the making. I wanted this new piece to be decked out to the nines, and the team at Unbox delivered. The original was 3D scanned, upsized, detailed and tweaked to fit the new scale.”
“The prototype stands here with a copy of the original. It measures just over 8 inches tall, will be cast in soft vinyl and features multiple points of articulation. More details soon on the first release, it won’t be long!”
