The Toy Chronicle Spotlight highlights the artist MonsterMind Cassia Harries, the super talented toy and monster maker from San Francisco Bay Area, who is also a Senior Concept Artist at the big game company Zynga.
Drawing since the age of 2 yrs old,Cassia had a passion for creating and developing characters and creatures. It was movies like the Lion King, Jurassic Park and Jim Henson’s Labyrinth that inspired the dream of sculpting and one day making creatures and characters into toys or even for films. In her spare time when Im not working as a concept artist for game companies, Cassia sculpts and invest time in her business “Monster Mind Sculpts”.
Although it can be challenging to stay motivated after a long day’s work, it is the drive to pour my creativity and passions in sculpture that gives me the energy to move forward.
I actually found MonsterMind work Via her Kickstarter campaign and then follower her work on various social media sites. Her Kickstarter campaign has been highly successful and already reached her target of $3,500 and smashed it hitting the total of $19,916 backed project. But of course you can still back the project as their is 6 days left (at the time of posting this artical)
