Holy mother of Deadpool. Steven Cartoccio just got our hearts a-racing! We mean, we were already super stoked to be heading to NYCC next week, but after seeing Frankpool – damn – fly us to New York now! Ok, are you ready to meet Frankpool? Lets go….
Frankpool, is quite obviously a take on our Marvel’s merc with a mouth – Deadpool, but it’s much more than that too. Frank is a character in Steven’s online cartoon Concrete Jungle (which you can check out HERE). Concrete Jungle is a comedy about humans and animals coexisting in NYC. The series focuses on two roommates. A dog named Frank (voiced by John DiMaggio of Bender & Jake the Dog fame), and a human named Jack (voiced by Steven himself). Frankpool looks freakin’ great. He stands at 9inches tall and comes with three replaceable heads. Priced at $125/£96. Just take a look at the side view of Frankpool below. Magnificent! Great sculpting. Colourwork looks bang on. This is definitely going to be a highlight at NYCC.
Wait but there is more!! Whilst the red edition of Frankpool is limited to 100 pieces, which will be available to buy online HERE on 6th Oct, Steven will also be selling an EXCLUSIVE NYCC edition of Frankpool too. As you can see from the image below, NYCC exclusive Frankpool will come in a grey colourway. This will be super limited to only 10 pieces. NYCC Exclusive Frankpool will be priced at $150/£115. We do know that you’ll be able to buy the NYCC exclusive Frankpool at the Tenacious Toys booth (#309, baby!).
