LIKEY for his SOLO Exhibition! prepare to see walls filled with one of a kind paintings alongside the all-new “GUMBI BEAR” designer art toy! Nearly zero calories and sugar but sweet enough for your collection. Get ready to the world of Mr. Likey which is filled with a pop culture filled the world with a jolly dose of humour! Today we bring you a taster of what you can expect at Mr Likey solo show.
Mr. Likey畢業於美國藝術大學（University of the Arts），作品曾榮獲「Gold Key Art Award」。Mr. Likey的作品深受美國卡通及街頭文化影響，擅長把不同潮流符號加以創作成全新的藝術作品。Mr.Likey 曾於紐約、澳洲、台北、上海等地參與展覽，亦曾在香港及菲律賓進行個展。Mr.Likey 更獲邀為2019上海潮流文化博覽 <Innersect >的特展藝術家。除畫作外，Mr.Likey亦是潮流雜誌KIKS的專欄作家。
Grew up in the United States, Mr. Likey received his Bachelor of Fine Art from the University of the Arts and his work was awarded the 「Gold Key Art Award」. Influenced by cartoons and street culture in the US, Mr. Likey is famous for his exceptional ability to recreate new art pieces with pop-cultural symbols. Mr. Likey has participated in numerous exhibitions in New York, Melbourne, Taipei, Shanghai and Hong Kong. He also did his solo exhibition in Hong Kong and the Philippines before. More than that, he was invited to be the artist featuring in Shanghai’s <Innersect> expo and has his own column in KIKS magazine. -Mr.likey/

<展覽內容>
Mr.Likey首個於台灣的個人藝術展，展覽作品融合了街頭藝術以及强烈的個人風格創作畫作，由經典卡通及漫画人物重塑、组合、再創作而成的獨特作品。
再加上Mr.Likey「畫中有畫」的表達方式，其作品經常能展現出不同背景下獨特的世界觀，讓人們感受到美好寓意後的另一番含意，引起那些「大孩子」心中的共鳴。
Mr.Likey 為今次台灣個展，特別創作了代表台灣的珍珠奶茶與美國經典飲品KOOL-AID吉祥物融合的畫作及發表向經典藝術家Roy Lichtenstein致敬的作品。
此外，Mr.Likey的第一個搪膠Art toy亦會於展覽中限量首賣。
