Seven days to go before the Thailand Toy Expo 2024 starts! the four-day bonanza returns and is bigger and better than ever! We finally have the floor plan and exhibitors list along with some previews of exclusive releases and artists plus independent brands from local to international heading to Thailand Toy Expo 2024.
We had the privilege of attending Thailand Toy Expo 2016-2019 and it was a one-of-a-kind experience. TTE is a FREE event that opened a lot of doors. One thing that stood out is the general public/ non-collectors taking an interest in the community. Hopefully making them into new collectors. The scene needs it, thanks to TTE we are sure the community has gained many new collectors and interests in one day. TTE experience has us flying back for more, well including all the great food, massages and hospitality that won us over. Comparing with other con’s like our own ToyConUK, Designer Con and NYCC. Every Con has it’s own feel and atmosphere and TTE wasn’t what we expected even for the amount of times we have visited, it was BETTER. TTE is situated in a shopping centre which we knew before we arrived at TTE but the buzz around it seeing collectors and the general public interested to see what was on offer.
Seeing the demand and the respect Asia has for these art toys has expanded from locals and also international collectors scrambling for the releases, especially the resin and sofubi collectors. Wow that just took us back to memory lane and as the Asian scene has grown so much over the years this year and TTE has established expo like non other we will be treated to independent artists and brands over 4 days! WHO’S GOING TO JOIN THE EXPO THIS YEAR?
- TTE takes place inside CentralWorld, which is the ninth-largest shopping complex in the world;
- Over 100 artists and exhibitors from more than 50 countries make the trip over to Bangkok each year;
- The event is spread out over three floors, plus an outdoor area, and delivers more exclusives than you could possibly line up for or fit into your suitcase (true story).
