The East Coast of the US is the place to be this weekend, with the Quiccs & HX Studio shows going on at Clutter Gallery on Saturday 12th in Beacon, NY (read HERE), there will be super goings on at Mothership Toy Gallery in Philly tomorrow (Friday 11th Jan) when they are hosting a Superplastic Super Release & Janky Custom Show!
Mothership Toy Gallery have roped in a number of awesome artists to customise either the 3.5inch Janky or the 8inch Super Janky for this show tomorrow evening. From the likes of RSIN (more on him shortly), Davemarkart, InPrimeWeTrust, Sad Salesman, Creeping Death Robot Club as well as a whole bunch of other ace artists, these custom Janky will be available from 6pm EST tomorrow at Mothership Toy Gallery, Philadelphia!
Inspired by the “Silver Dae Dae” by SKET-ONE in the 2005 released Series 2 Kidrobot Dunny, Klav at Creeping Death Robot Club has given this Super Janky a Dae Dae makeover with the CDRC rust job!
As we say, if you’re in the area of Mothership Gallery, go check out this show tomorrow night in Philly. We have no doubt there will be a packed house of awesome collectors. They’ll have some Superplastic pieces for sale on the night, probably stuff that has long since sold out plus the Janky Series One blind boxes too! Not one to miss!
