Where would an all-female Kidrobot Dunny Series be without Candie Bolton? Well, that question doesn’t need to be asked as the new Spiritus Dea Dunny Mini Series from Kidrobot does indeed feature the work of Ms. Bolton in the shape of Bastet.
Bastet (design by @CandieBolton) is the revered Egyptian goddess with the cat-like face, brought to life by award-winning artist Candie Bolton. 🐈 Daughter of the sun god Ra, Bastet once had the face of a lion and served as a protector of pharaohs, but over time her face softened into that of a domestic house cat. She is a gentle yet powerful force that watches over humanity and accompanies cats wherever they go.Kidrobot

Spiritus Dea – “spirit of the goddess” in Latin – spans different cultures, times, and theologies, united by one common theme: the rebirth of justice. Whether worshipped for creation or destruction, protection or war, chaos or fate, or even life and death – the goddesses in Spiritus Dea maintain essential roles within the greater celestial world.
Spiritus Dea – Spirit of the Goddess Dunny Mini Series is launching on Friday 27th September from Kidrobot.com and other various Designer Toy stores too! As we have previously said, we are super excited to see what the ladies bring to this series. So far the designs have been stellar!
