New: TIMBERRRR Kidrobot Dunny by Gorgocho #ExquisiteCorpse

As we step ever closer to February 7th, Kidrobot have revealed the third Dunny as part of the upcoming new blind box multi-artist series – Exquisite Corpse!!

TIMBERRR by Venezuela artist Gorgocho was revealed earlier today. The ratio for TIMBERRR is 2/24. Check out below what Gorgocho had to say about his Dunny design for this series…

The concept that unites all the pieces of ‘Exquisite Corpse’ Dunny Series is death so I focused on telling a story that calls for reflection about the destruction of nature by mankind and its implications to the environment and all living creatures. My wooden Dunny is the home in which the little owl breed lives. The mother watches from the top of the tree in search of threats but she has never seen a saw before.

The new Exquisite Corpse series from Kidrobot is going to be hands-on too. Each new 3inch Dunny will have the ability to be disassembled and reassembled with other Dunny in the series. Swap their heads, arms, legs, bodies etc to your hearts content.

And we found out this week that the Dunny will be held together by MAGNETS! As shown in the video shared by Exquisite Corpse artist, RunDMB, which you can check out below…

I think I’m OK to show this, the #ExquisiteCorpse #dunny in action! I originally asked @roboticindustries to help me make a prototype of a splittable dunny a couple of years ago because I liked an old #kidrobot series called “Critter Splitters” so much. I also figured it could give new life to dupe dunnys. My #redmutuca pals @igorventura and @sergiomancini figured it could work as production, they talked to KR, and here we are… actual dunnys you can take apart however you like. You can probably even use them as fridge magnets 😂 (I haven’t tried that, so no complaining if it doesn’t work). Massive thanks to @kidrobot for making it happen 🙏and to my fellow Red Mutuca members for their amazing designs, can’t wait until they’re all released.
