Tribute Toys have kicked off the end of 2019 with a new Kickstarter campaign that has been running for the last week. Bringing to life the Belly design by Madcap Customs. The main Kickstarter focuses on the Classic Belly and Contra Belly (pictured above). These are priced at $40CAD (about £24) each. They are 6inch and made from vinyl.
Sometimes simplicity is key. We have seen it time & time again in the Designer Toy world. Belly is a little too simple, in my opinion, but sometimes my opinion means nothing. Within a week or so of the Belly Kickstarter campaign, Tribute Toys have already amassed $12,500CAD of their $20,000CAD goal. With 22 days left of the campaign, we are sure that they will likely hit their target before Jan 22nd 2020.
There are additional rewards to back as part of the Belly campaign too, that features stickers, pins & tees, as seen below. There is the Limited edition Gilded Belly that can be backed at $225CAD (about £132) which will see you receive the Metallic Gold Belly with Metallic Red mask. These are limited to 100 pieces, with about a quarter of these sold at the time of writing. You can see the concept for this below.
