Toby Dutkiewicz sent in some news for one HUGE drop as he prepares Devil Head Productions store. Not one but three releases. We can tell all hell is gonna break loose when all three releases which include APALALA, HELLOPIKE, JIZO-ANARCHO and HOGADA all get the nod for some cool sofubi releases.
APALALA X HELLOPIKE
Apalala is back in this microrun painted by sofubi customizer extraordinaire Hellopike. Half the run is on a pink vinyl base with tons of metallic colours and a bit of black, white and tan too. The other half is on white vinyl and features an earth tone paint rub with swampy green and blue tones complemented by hits of silver, purple and brown. Both are stellar in their own way and this release will be sold “blind” meaning you won’t know which version you get until you open the box. These will most likely go quick. LIMIT 1 APALALA PER PERSON AND ANY ORDERS OF 2 OR MORE WILL BE CANCELLED. Made in Japan. Not intended for children under 14 years old. $150 each.
JIZO-ANARCHO X HELLOPIKE
Hellopike also threw down some paint on our own little Jizo. Metallic tones are complemented by a splash of red and a splatter of black. Some great vintage vibe happening with the sprayed colours in contrast to the contemporary paint splatter. Unlike Apalala X Hellopike, there is not a limit on this release. Made in Japan. Not intended for children under 14 years old. $30 each.
DHP X HOGADA
DHP has teamed up with Chinese vinyl maker Nomiwa for this mircorun of Hogada. This strange merging of Buddhist imagery and insectoid structure creates quite a presence with the lights on or off. Cast in blue GID vinyl (yep they glow in the dark), a pink rub has been applied with pink, black yellow, green and bronze paints overtop. Made in China. Not intended for children under 14 years old. $125 each.
