For collectors who have been drooling over the photos of all the COARSE pieces at STS 2019, our friends at Rotofugi have announced they are giving you the opportunity to own COARSE originals! A couple of days ago via Rotofugi newsletter, they released the details on how to own them (get your bank account ready and make space)
They have just returned from the Shanghai Toy Show where they unveiled several new coarse originals that are now available to order.
If you’re unfamiliar, the coarse originals are small-run sculptures (typically resin, fibreglass or wood) produced in coarse’s Los Angeles-based studio. The pieces are concepts and produced by coarse founders Mark Landwehr & Sven Waschk.
While they are more expensive than coarse’s more mass-produced vinyl releases, the quality and craftsmanship on these pieces are unparalleled, and edition sizes are usually in the single digits. As the name “coarse originals” suggests, these are truly original works of art!
