HEATWAVE heading to Summer Soul as Chino Lam all set to release Surfing Homie Fish [SHF] after making a quick appearance back in April at ART TOY SEASONING in Thailand. SHF is ready to ride the waves of Hong Kongs waters!
I designed this toy during the summer of 2019. To welcome the summer season, this character is ready to catch a wave under the summer heat! This artwork reflects my desires to chill out and enjoy summer holiday… though I never had any time to let myself rest due to the number of works I have, thus, through this toy, I want to express my thirst to relax, chill and play in the summer holiday. Look closer and we are sure SHF is based on Chino himself! His signature salmon pink shorts and blue side bag, HA. Not only that, Chino has given the packaging a nod to Bandai S.H.Figuarts where he used to work for.
