Chavinballs by Camote Toys

Following the success that was Hello Kittytéotl (read HERE) Denis Paradis artist from Argentina known as Camote Toys presents an exciting new creation. He continues working with pop culture/aztec mythology crossovers, this time around he takes on the iconic Madballs, the classic toy foam balls originally created by AmToy in the mid-1980s.

The shamans of the Chavin culture consumed the San Pedro cactus to alter their states of consciousness and obtain greater knowledge about reality and themselves. They also acquired the traits and attributes of sacred animals, such as the jaguar, the harpy eagle, the caiman or the anaconda.
