Taiwanese designer Spawnmax, who was baptized by American culture since he was a child, with his own love for toys and retro cartoons in the 1980s and 1990s. The nostalgic blood runs deep and well into his creative road. 2017 was the birth of “Dino Gangster” and we saw in person at TTE and introduced to you two years back HERE. Fast forward to the present day. Monster Taipei presents Dino Gangster – The Renaissance Spawnmax 2020 Solo Exhibition at Monster Taipei.
The exhibition will focus on the core members of the dinosaur gangster as the main axis. As well as the new first sale of vinyl toys, Spawnmax, who is good at drawing flat illustrations, will also open up the accumulated manuscript paintings created so far. In addition, the designer Spawnmax has carefully prepared ONE special edition which will only be sold exclusively in this solo exhibition; at 8pm of the opening, plus there will be a signing event at the Exhibition

端午龍粽登場！
從小深受美系文化洗禮的台灣設計師 Spawnmax 米腸駿，憑藉著自身對80、90年代玩具及復古卡通的喜愛，帶著這些養分滿腔熱血的開啟了創作之路。在2017年之際，以未滅絕的恐龍時代為主要創作題材，進而延伸建構出屬於米腸駿的恐龍世界觀，《 Dino Gangster 恐龍黑幫 》就此誕生。
即將在6月24日於台北東區 Monster Taipei 舉辦首次的《恐龍黑幫之文藝復興－米腸駿個人創作展》，展覽將以恐龍黑幫核心成員為主軸，現場將展出至今的原創角色立體作品彙總以及全新的搪膠玩具首賣活動，擅於繪製平面插畫的米腸駿更將創作至今累積的手稿畫作大公開，除此之外，設計師米腸駿精心準備了呼應這次文藝復興主題的 ONE OFF 恐龍黑幫作品，也只將會在這次的個展上獨家販售；開幕當晚八點並將於現場進行簽名會活動‧
此次展覽特別邀請到台灣瓦楞紙塑藝術家－ 鍾凱翔 Kai-Xiang Zhong為恐龍黑幫打造出大型恐龍裝置藝術於現場展出，藉由不同媒材的創作讓觀展者能有耳目一新的衝擊視覺感受。
6月24日開幕酒會當晚特別放映 Counter656創視影像團隊為恐龍黑幫製作的精采定格動畫影片，同時現場提供 島嶼海風 Salty Breeze 的 品飲筆記 熱情贊助的 Whisky 供大家享用 (未滿18歲禁止飲酒)，喜愛恐龍黑幫的朋友們歡迎在展期親臨現場觀展囉！
※ 展覽系列商品採排隊方式依序進場販售，6月24日晚上七點開幕活動後開放購買，恕不接受預訂及保留，數量有限，售完為止；ONE OFF 作品開幕之夜現場抽選販售。
