Swedish artist Emelie Jensen AKA Tomodachi Island has caught our attention with her customs and illustrations artwork. Bringing her wonderful creatures to life Emelie takes charge over any medium given to her, paper, toy or fabric nothing gets in the way of Emelie. Here are a couple of customs that she has recently completed to join her portfolio of awesomeness.
My love for art has always been there. I have been drawing and doodling since I can remember. This has always been my escape and my passion.
The Queen of Candy Cove
All hail the Queen of Candy Cove! She has finally made he first appearance after her mother sadly passed away. It is time for her to take over the reign of Candy Cove and her nerves are more on the outside than the inside. She’s not much of a people person and hates center of attention (sucks being a Queen then I guess?!). This is something that she’ll have to deal with however and she needs to take control over the terrible sugar lows she tends to get after eating to many Love Hearts!
The Queen of Candy with all her bright colours is something pretty cool and different, the mouth got me! she even makes a she golden lollipop with pink rhinestones which was completely hand sculpted.
“Tomodachi Island is a little part of my imagination that I have decided to share with the world. It is and ever growing project of mine and this little Island never stops growing. I make little creatures and build stories around them. This is my way of expressing my creativity and I hope that by sharing my stories and fantasies I can bring a smile to your face”.

Pretty cool mixing needle felt into the platform. I sincerely hope to see more from Tomodachi, even when she creates creatures like Crystal Bearers.
No word on the release date of the Queen of Candy but I don’t think it will be long before it’s up for sale, as always we will update you all.
