In a galaxy far away, well not too far but far enough, Josh Mayhem has taken NYCC by storm with his latest Blown Away art piece. The Blown Away Trooper. This 3.75inch Storm Trooper has been given the blown away treatment, covered in strands of resin and layers of acrylic paint to create gravity-defying drips that give the impression of the work being deconstructed by a strong wind.
Available to purchase at the DKE Toys Booth at NYCC this weekend, priced at $125 (£96) each. Limited to 50 pieces. We are hearing that these are selling well already, so if you’re heading over to New York Comic Con and want your own Blown Away Trooper, you better make quick fast to Booth #678.
