Can you believe it been over 5 years since we wrote about the fantastic Jumping Lomo? Ever since we laid eyes on Los Patroncitos By Jumping Lomo our eyes have never been the same (in a good way, HA) CORI x CANDITO x CARMELO are is inspired by the masks of the diablada of the Fiesta de la Candelaria in Puno, the vibrant feel to them is what Jumping Lomo appealed to us and each of them have been carefully engraved with markings with spots of Peruvian traditions and culture. We love them and it is nice to have culture influenced art toys, so we get a glimpse into everyone’s culture.
“This idea was born three years ago with the intention of rediscovering the festivities, making them known more closely. Symbols, colors and especially the energy emitted inspire us to project in this new graphic format the whole vibe of the celebrations.”
Fast forward to the present day, Jumping Lomo has been all over the world which includes travelling to China for the BTS show!
Working on various art right now Jumping Lomo has stocked up some lovely CANDITO – Patroncito Ceramic Sculptures as well as merch which you can pick up right now. Check out the prints and cards too, super vibrant you might need sunglasses.
The piece is a ceramic sculpture approximately 17cm high. Hand-painted and protected with gloss varnish.
It comes signed and with a certificate of authenticity.
