Robocop MOVE OUTTA DA WAY. Here comes Huck Gee’s “The Can Opener” packing heavy arsenal of weapons will make any mech or villain go into hiding. Once again we’ve been stalking Hucks Instagram feed, even though Instagram no longer being in chronological order as he shows his craftsmanship process in the making of The Can Opener.
When you gotta crack some mechs, you send in The Can Openers
Ever since the DAME was first introduced, it dominated the battlefield. The massive diesel machines turned the tide of many an early battle. However, the enemy was quick to reciprocate with their newly designed, powerful UNTZ machines. This led to the large lumbering tin cans clashing on muddy fields for years before some engineer worth his weight in gold had the novel idea of trying to crack the enemy’s plated shells with something different. What if they could build smaller, less powerful, but nimble, diesel suits of armor that could run circles around the slower moving enemy? If we found some “death wish” fools willing to pilot them, and they were quick enough, they would be able to outmaneuver the comparably slow UNTZ units. The enemy can’t hit what they can’t catch. And while traditional small arms would be useless, maybe the little guys can blindside them, get in close enough to hammer some chinks in their armor, crack ’em open, drop in some TNT… and then run like hell.
It sounded like a good idea at the time.

The Can Opener will be available this Friday, August 26th, at Noon PDT exclusively at www.HuckGee.com. This figure will be a set of 10, stands 7″ tall and will be signed and numbered. $850 + S&H. Payment due at time of ordering. The figure will ship in approximately 4-6 weeks.
Love mecha then this should be for you. For our own personal taste, unsure about the look of the huge chain on the Can Opener. Totally get that it goes with the storyline, won’t be that off putting as we are lovin the overall look.
