Right now the UK is melting under a heat wave. We need something melty to save us. Buff Monster is that saviour. Mr. B Monster is heading to London in August for a solo exhibition at StolenSpace Gallery and we can’t wait to see what he brings with him.
To get an idea, Buff gives StolenSpace the low down on his visit…

On the gallery walls, I’ll be showing some small pieces, like the painted flattened spray cans. In 2001, I took some flattened cans and drew characters on them and nailed them around Los Angeles. I did some others in San Francisco in 2006. It’s a format that I always like to revisit, though now I really focus on making them super detailed and showing them in galleries. I’ll be working on a variety of paintings on flat surfaces and some objects as well. It’s going to be a great colourful collection of melty imagery in a variety of sizes and mediums.[/quote]
