As the Xenoplasm exhibition is getting closer, “an exhibition that “explores the current movement of ‘West meets East’ within Art-toy production painting and illustration. Bringing together Japanese tradition in toy design and production mixed with Western pop culture, horror, and a sci-fi aesthetic, and how the two have influenced each other.”, the host Outré Gallerywas kind enough to sent in a show preview that now we share with you guys. “Sales for ‘Xenoplasm’ will be run slightly different to how we usually run our show sales.
Due to the fact that we have customers flying to in from interstate, we only think it’s fair that the first round of sales go to people attending the opening of the show on July 8th.
Customers attending the opening will be permitted to initially purchase one piece from each of the individual artists. We may use our discretion on the night, once we feel all pieces have been fairly viewed, to offer multiple pieces to the same buyer.
There won’t be a lottery system for pre-sales and purchases, so we recommend queuing up prior to the opening at 6pm as it will be a first in first served basis monitored by the staff at Outre Gallery.
NOTE: We can offer Layby for ALL Australian customers – securing your purchase will require a 25% deposit at the time of purchase, with a 3 week – 2 month lay-by length, dependant on value. This only applies to Australian customers.
CUSTOMERS WHO WON’T BE ATTENDING THE EXHIBITION
Unsold pieces from the show will be offered to individuals after the opening night. Email the below information to us by Thursday 7th 11PM to register your interest in purchasing unsold pieces. If your request is successful you will be contacted no more than 48 hours after the show opening. If there are multiple people interested in one unsold piece, a first offer will be made to a buyer picked at random.
Buyers have 24 hours to complete payment after we offer the piece for purchase (via email), otherwise it will passed onto another person on the list. (Please see full details below).
When emailing your preferences. Please send all emails to [email protected] with the subject heading ‘Xenoplasm purchase inquiry’ And list the follow. 1. Your Name 2. Contact information: email address and phone number 3. Top 4 choices in order of preference. 4. Country and or State where you live.
Successful requests will be emailed a direct payment invoice which will allow you to purchase the piece/s via our website. Payment must be made within 24 hours otherwise the piece/s will become available to another customer. Payment method. We accept all forms of credit card however there will be a 3% surcharge for AMEX. Sorry but we don’t accept paypal transfers.”
