It’s that time of the week where we give you guys the lowdown on what is worth listening to around the Designer Toy world and beyond!
Marsham Toy Hour
Marsham Toy Hour is now 15 episodes old, and the guys are really getting in the groove. This week Gary (Ham), Aaron (Martian Toys) and Tyler (Ham) answer questions posed to them from Instagram, Podbean & via email. There is also a brief discussion on clarification of “fair use” and their usual Leaks and Sneak peaks! You can listen to Marsham Toy Hour on podbean HERE.
The Blindbox Podcast
The guys over at The Blindbox Podcast chat this week to Texan Naptime Noah. Noah jumps on The Blind Box to talk about how he got into both collecting and creating toys, the artists that inspire him to keep doing what he’s doing as well as what he does that you probably wouldn’t expect him to do. You can catch this week’s Blindbox Podcast HERE.
For The Masses Podcast
As we mentioned last week, there is a new Podcast in town. Rob Lumino, of SubUrban Vinyl fame, now runs the For The Masses podcast. Part of the Blindbox Network, For The Masses rolled out their first episode last week – featuring ChrisRWK (Robots Will Kill). You can listen to the first For The Masses podcast on the Blindbox Network site HERE.
We’re not all about listening to Designer Toy podcasts, oh no. As you know from our announcement regarding our 3rd Birthday Show (which you can read HERE), The Toy Chronicle love wrestling. So we have love to listen to folks chat about wrestling too. We have a couple of podcasts focusing on the latest goings on in the WWE universe. First up….
Tuesday Night Jaw
Tuesday Night Jaw is a monthly wrestling podcast reviewing the latest WWE pay-per-view. So following the PPV, Jim Smallman (co-founders of UK’s Progress Wresting, as well as a host of other stuff too) does a round table style podcast with guests discussing the previous nights PPV. This week they discuss Sunday’s Money in the Bank PPV (MITB) with Scroobius Pip, wrestler Danny Garnell and PROGRESS workhorse and co-owner Jon Briley. If you’re into your wrestling, this is definitely one podcast to listen to. You can listen to the Tuesday Night Jaw on Acast HERE.
Pencil Neck Geeks
Blindbox Network are a multifaceted podcast network. Alongside their Blindbox Podcast (see above), and their For The Masses podcast (also see above) they have a wrestling chat show – Pencil Neck Geeks. Again this week’s episode of PNCLNCKGKS (as they’re known on Instagram) is mostly focused on Sunday’s MITB PPV. They also run a mock draft – splitting the WWE superstars in to two shows – Raw & Smackdown. This is based on a storyline brewing within the WWE universe currently. Worth a listen, although their thoughts on Dean Ambrose don’t match our thoughts on the Lunatic Fringe. You can listen to the Pencil Neck Geeks on the Blindbox Network site HERE.
That’s almost 9hours of podcast listening to keep you busy until next week. Enjoy!
