Tooth Friends By Woo Shin

South Korean artist Woo Shin has a knack for sweetness, so much so her creations have hit our sweet tooth sensors. Last year she made these cool Melting candy resin figures which made kids want to pick them up from the floor and save for a later date to eat, Ha just kidding. So we’ve seen a fair few melting style figures in the past but these are still cool to us. Fast forward to 2017 and Woo Shin is finally releasing her all new Tooth Friends. Teeth with smiley face hahaha, simple but cute. With all her food and sugar related characters and figures, Teeth was always going to happen.

“I always imagined that my surrounding objects are alive or transforming.
And I hoped that these are real. So I  decided to bring them to life. First, I made ‘Sweets’ series.
In the series, there are ‘Melting candy’, ‘Sweet dream’, ‘ A heart with a bite’.
All work is made of resin.
In my works, I try to put some vitality to the daily surroundings by adding my imagination to them.
I wish everyone could feel happiness and sweetness from my works.”

How cool that you can remove the Tooth, love that little touch. Woo Shin promised no teeth were harmed during any pulling out of the Tooth Friends.
