Thailand artist Tan Chawinpon of Tangent Toys took part in the Buster Call Project which saw a wide range of artist from all over the world take on the cult classic Japanese animated series One Piece. The officially licenced show saw Tanget and other artists give their signature spin on One Piece. Last seen at ComplexCon 2019 the ship has set sail to China for the Buster Call Project tour. Fully licenced, the concept is an adorable figure that combines animal, jewel crystal and mineral together to create new creatures. This original character is Rainey the crystal antler deer saw Tangent turn him into Tony Tony Chopper, So cute right?! About the Project
ONE PIECE is the Japanese cartoon created by Eiichiro Oda, published in the “Weekly Shonen Jump” (Shueisha) since 1997 and has printed over 450 million copies to date.
This project, in collaboration with Japanese and global artists, will recreate the identity of the ONE PIECE manga and anime series that has been a global phenomenon for over 20 years with its irresistibly passionate storylines, messages and content.
The global artists’ free and diversely humorous creations will revitalise our traditional society and through ONE PIECE we aim to create a new sense of values.
